China: Fulfilling Bible Prophecy

¹⁶The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number.

Only one nation in the world right now has a big enough population to fulfil this prophecy. China currently has 1.3 BILLION people and the largest military in the world with 7 MILLION active, reserve, and paramilitary forces. Should the military need to mobilize, they have a communist regime that has strident power to coerce a population that has 800 MILLION people living in poverty and dependent upon their communist leaders for even basic needs.

China has made it clear it wants its military #1 in the world. This quote was from the following news article on China:

China has roughly doubled its military budget since 2006, according to official government figures that some overseas analysts say vastly downplay what Beijing actually spends.

China is spending big bucks, a double in 2 years?! A massive trade surplus, a failing US economy, and desire to challenge the world's top dog while he is down among other factors. Watch the Glen Beck clip at the end to hear former US ambassador to the UN, John Bolton's take on China.

Could this be a reference to China?.

The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. ¹⁸A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths.

These "horsemen" may be a small division or group within that army, such as a strategic nuclear weapons division, or they may be brightly painted missiles sitting upon missile launchers.

Where does China fit into Bible prophecy? Scholars Have pointed to the following verses:

Revelation 16 & Zechariah 14: "Kings of the East"

A number of Bible scholars (1, 2, 3) argue that China is included in the "kings of the east" attacking Israel (Revelation 16, Zechariah 14). The final battle, called Armageddon, ends with Christ's Second Coming and His fighting for Israel (Revelation 19:11-18).

Some point to a more optimistic prophecy concerning China (1, 2, 3). Viewing Isaiah's prophecy concerning Sinim to be China, the prophet suggests the nation will open its borders and that salvation will come to its people (Isaiah 49:10-12).

Scripture's Defense of Conservatism

Isaiah 10:1

1 Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees:
Definition: Righteous: Morally upright according to the Lord's commandments, without sin or guilt.
Translation: I will not tolerate those who pass laws to mandate public funding of abortions, hate crimes laws, eminent domain laws, laws in sympathy of criminals (Miranda rights, etc.), laws to squelch prayer while promoting condom use.

2 Who write misfortune
Definition: Misfortune: The condition resulting from bad economic policy
Translation: Those who support socialism and the abolishment of private property, minimum wage, labor unions, laws like the card-check pro-union act, big government policies, government price fixing, lack of transparency of the federal reserve, protectionist trade policies, higher tax laws, reckless spending bills, and universal health care

3 Which they have prescribed to rob the needy of justice
Definition: Justice: Upholding what is just. Fair treatment and due reward in accordance with honor, standards, or law
Translation: Proponents of the welfare state, frivolous lawyer lawsuits, a living constitution, a weak national defense, COMMUNISM, Fascist and totalitarian dictators, reading Miranda rights to prisoners and letting Scot free the terrorists from Guantanamo Bay, propagating victim ideology among the poor and need, and opponents of giving the poor a hand out rather than a hand up.

There, in just one verse from the Bible we find full explanation for all the principles we hold to be true as conservatism. This is why I find Liberal views and Christ irreconcilable.

It's Official: My Generation has Forgotten God

The future leaders of America are officially the most liberal and least religious generation this nation has every seen. I trace much of this unraveling of culture to the corrosion of the family which has seen an divorce increase of 60% over the last two decades. The bedrock of society is the family--without it all social, economic, and political philosophy rests on shifting sand. 7 States in the Union now have degraded the value of the family by allowing other lifestyles to claim the same mantle. Our culture has tried to fill the moral vacuum caused by secular humanism with cars, lavish lifestyles, and sexual freedom. Each has only left us more lost than before. The only hope for this nation is a return to the hope that is found in the gospel of Christ.

Taxes, Taxes, Taxes

A true measure of an economic structure of a country is to look at its tax rate. America is the land of taxes and if Obama's health care and carbon tax plans go through we could be looking at a marginal tax rate with city, state, and federal combined at around 50%. Consider that New Yorkers are already living in the tax capital of the world:

States are raising taxes despite the 'stimulus'; New York is No. 1.

Like the old competition to have the world's tallest building, New York can't resist having the nation's highest taxes. So after California raised its top income tax rate to 10.55% last month, Albany's politicians leapt into action to reclaim high-tax honors. Maybe C-Span can make this tax competition a new reality TV series; Carla Bruni, the first lady of France, could host.

Mr. Silver says of the coming tax hikes: "We've done it before. There hasn't been a catastrophe." Oh, really? According to Census Bureau data, over the past decade 1.97 million New Yorkers left the state for greener pastures -- the biggest exodus of any state. New York City has lost more than 75,000 jobs since last August, and many industrial areas upstate are as rundown as Detroit. The American Legislative Exchange Council recently said New York had the worst economic outlook of all 50 states, including Michigan. And that analysis was done before these $4 billion in new taxes. How does Mr. Silver define "catastrophe"?

Oh, and it isn't just high earners who get smacked. The new budget raises another $2 billion or so on top of the $4 billion in income taxes with some 100 new taxes, fees, fines, surcharges and penalties to be paid by all New York residents. There are new charges for cell phone usage, fishing permits, health insurance (the "sick tax"), electric bills, and on bottled water, cigars, beer and wine. A New York Post analysis found that a typical family of four with an income below $100,000 would pay more than $800 a year in higher taxes and fees.

If taxes are any indication, America's economic system is not capitalistic but socialistic.

With gas at the pump last year at $4.00 a gallon, much was made on how the price got to be so high. While a lot had to do with speculation, take a look at the taxes on a gallon taken from the Department of Transportation:

Average taxes: Regular Grade Gas at the Pump

State: 20.7 cents

Federal: 18 cents

Sales Tax: 5 percent

AND don't forget all the many Hidden Taxes that get passed along to the consumer one way or another:

Corporate Taxes: 25% of retailer's profit

State income tax 6% of retailer's profit

SO, take gas at $2.00

State: .21

Fed: .18

Sales: .10

Hidden: If profit margin is 10%, and leaving out a lot of variables, one would expect that as least some of that cost is passed along--although there is little price elasticity in this close to perfectly competitive market: Make it .10

That makes about 25% of the cost of gas due to taxes, which means we're paying a heafty tax every time we fill up.

On another note: It's time for an economic lesson on a common fallicy that is propogated that public works jobs--like those promised in the stimulus---somehow equal a benefit to society.

Public Works =Taxes

The thing so great that private capital could not have built it has indeed been built by private capital. The capital that was expropriated in taxes or if the money was borrowed, that must eventually expropriated in taxes. NEVER FORGET the power plants and buildings that were destroyed by not allowing them to come into existence in the first place due to their capital being taken from them to build the photogenic Norris Dam or thing etc!

Never forget the 2 sides of the ledger! While one side is comparatively richer, the other is comparatively poorer.

Kenyan 1912 Prophet Prophecy about Obama

Here is an odd page which quotes an early 20th century (1913) prophet from a cultic or heretical Christian group in Kenya. The Kenyan prophet predicts the destruction of the United States in future times to be brought about by one of the sons of Kenya. Unique but very hard to determine authenticity.

The key that makes this prophecy so intriguing is the fact that Obama has STILL NOT disclosed a valid birth certificate to the public. With a state run media worshipping him throughout the campaign, no one gave notice to asking him for it. He posted a short one on his 'fight the smears' campaign website, but never did post the longer official birth certificate. AND he has spent billions to hire lawyers to make sure that nothing comes of this issue. Which asks the question: Honesty Speaks? If he's got it, why not release it? Read more from World Net Daily on this issue which are currently filing a lawsuit (a snowballs chance of hell of getting the release of this document).

Update: Obama has released his most recent birth certificate although many questions still remain unanswered as to why it to took him 3 years to do so and whether the long-form certificate is actually real. WND tallies the many question marks around the most recently released certificate.

Barack Obama, Prophecy, and the destruction of the United States:

Johanwa Owalo, the founder of Kenya’s Nomiya Luo Church, and who among the Kenya people of the Luo religion is believed to be a prophet similar to Jesus Christ and Muhammad, and who in 1912 made this horrific prophecy about the United States:

“So far have they [the United States] strayed into wickedness in those [future] times that their destruction has been sealed by my [father]. Their great cities will burn, their crops and cattle will suffer disease and death, their children will perish from diseases never seen upon this Earth, and I reveal to you the greatest [mystery] of all as I have been allowed to see that their [the United States] destruction will come about through the vengeful hands of one of our very own sons.” [1]

The author at this site that re-published this prophecy goes on to indicate that this prophet is from the Lueo tribe in Africa, the same place as Obama's father. This 'coincidence' would need to be investigated to prove the validity of the Visions of the Great Nyasaye. Nevertheless, Romans 13 states:

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Barack Obama is America's 44th president, not by accident. He has been appointed by God for such a time as this. Could it be thought this president will usher in the reign of the beast or the tribulation talked about in Revelation?


Another intriguing prophecy is found in Deuteronomy 28:43. Deuteronomy is known as Moses' farewell discourse as he gives words from the Lord to the people of Israel at the end of their 40 years in the wilderness after miraculously freed from bondage in Egypt with God's help. Chapter 28 talks of the the terrible havoc of soul that comes from rejecting God's divine commands.

"The alien who is among you shall rise above you higher and higher, but you will go down lower and lower.

Perry Stone details the spiritual and prophetic connections between America and Israel. Prophetic events often occur in circles---I'll post on this more later. As a result one could possibly read the punishment God promises on Israel for their disobedience as the same type of punishment that also could occur to America. Could this prophecy allude to a foreign born leader coming to power in America after the nation has disobeyed God?

In closing, here are a final few reasons this site points out on how Obama's presidency may be Apocalyptic:

1. The timing of his election. It may be that there are only two presidential terms left before the Great Tribulation (Does God Have a 6,000 Year Plan? What Year Does the 6,000 Years End?) and the fulfillment of related prophecies in the Book of Revelation (called the Apocalypse by most Catholics). Barack Obama’s very presence (as well as his planned and unplanned actions) should be enough to enable the fulfillment of various end-time prophecies.
2. As one with a Luo Kenyan father, Barack Obama (see also Kenya Rejoices as Obama Wins) may be part of the fulfillment of Deuteronomy 28:43.
3. Since the Roe vs. Wade pro-abortion decision, the USA has became the greatest debtor nation in the history of humankind. Since the USA owes alien nations trillions of dollars, it appears that the curse in Deuteronomy 28:44 of having to borrow from aliens is happening to it now. President Barack Obama has put forth economic policies that will increase that debt (see President Obama Forgot the Bible). Yet, the Bible specifically warns that increasing national debt like this will lead to destruction at the appointed time of the end in Habakkuk 2:3,6-8 (see also Anglo - America in Prophecy).
4. One of the first actual changes that Barack Obama implemented was reversing one or more executive orders that will likely lead to more abortions (see Obama’s Abortion Changes). Yet, abortion is wrong (see Abortion, the Bible, and a Woman’s Right to Choose) and a terrible national sin. And on March 9, 2009 lifted a ban on embryonic stem cell research (see LCG on Stem Cells) another morally wrong sin.
5. In a policy shift from past administrations, Barack Obama has pledged increased cooperation with the Europeans, including strengthening their defense (see Obama Proving Apocalyptic). This cooperation is likely to lead to the rise of the prophesied King of the North, who is to be the final leader of the Beast of Revelation.
6. Barack Obama has called for increased dialogue with those considered as enemies of the USA. Even some Shiite Muslims believe that his presidency may lead to the rise of their Mahdi (see Barack Obama in Islamic Prophecy?), who seems to be the same person that the Bible calls the King of the South.

No doubt, apocalyptic or not, America has lost the favor of God and is headed for judgement unless this country repents from its sin and turns toward God. I pray this happens before it is to late.

Who needs Joseph Goebbels when we've got Congress

Hitler's right hand man, Joseph Goebbels, spread lies and rumors about the Jews and other minority groups that laid the framework for Hitler's rationalization of mass murder on a large scale. Hitler's famous quote was later conned due to this mans work: "You tell a lie long enough and people will believe it."

Read the response from the head of the fed when questioned on what would happen should the public find out what is actually happening at the nations central bank--the Federal Reserve. From an article from NumisMaster:

Last Thursday, in testimony to Congress, Federal Reserve Vice Chair Donald Kohn stated that if the public became more aware of the Fed's actions, should this bill became law, that it could result in higher consumer prices, higher interest rates and a decline in the credit rating of the United States government.

The article below is well worth reading. The lack of transparency in our system and abundance of ignoranc in the minds of America's youth do not paint a pretty picture for the future of this once great nation.

The legislative effort to audit the Federal Reserve took an interesting, though ugly, turn last week. On Wednesday, the entire Senate was considering an appropriations bill. Sen. DeMint, R-S.C., saw that several amendments had been added to the bill for various authorizations of audits to be performed by the Government Accounting Office. So he introduced an amendment to the appropriations bill to add the bill calling for the GAO to audit the Fed (DeMint is a co-sponsor of the original "audit the Fed" bill asking for an audit).

When this happened, Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., objected that this violated Senate Rule 16, which prohibits legislative amendments to appropriations bills. The Senate president immediately agreed and struck this particular amendment from the appropriations bill.

When this occurred, DeMint kept fighting. He mentioned that the "audit the Fed" bill had widespread bipartisan legislative support. He pointed out that Senate rules were frequently violated, which they are. He then specifically named each other GAO audit legislation amended onto this appropriations bill. The Senate president acknowledged each time that these amendments violated Senate rules, but he let them remain as part of the appropriations bill.

The implication of this development is that the Democratic leadership in Congress and in the White House does not want the public to know what an audit of the Federal Reserve would reveal. One likely revelation would be just how much gold the U.S. government really owns versus what it tries to claim it owns.

Last Thursday, in testimony to Congress, Federal Reserve Vice Chair Donald Kohn stated that if the public became more aware of the Fed's actions, should this bill became law, that it could result in higher consumer prices, higher interest rates and a decline in the credit rating of the United States government. The question not asked of him is why is the Fed taking actions that could cause such a result - but only if the public found out what the Fed did.

Also last week, Goldman Sachs reported a theft of one of the company's proprietary trading programs, allegedly taken by one of the employees who helped create it. In reporting the theft, Goldman Sachs said that usage of this program could make it possible for the user to manipulate markets unfairly.

Let me be clear about this. Goldman Sachs admits that they have trading software that could be used to unfairly manipulate markets, but they don't admit to using it for such activities. The unasked question is - why else would they bother creating such software?

Already, there are theories of what Goldman Sachs has been able to do with such software and why they have made a public stink about the alleged theft rather than kept quiet. Last Wednesday, one publication stated that the software enables Goldman Sachs to assist the President's Working Group on Financial Markets (popularly called the Plunge Protection Team). Supposedly, this software reviews trading orders on the exchanges before they were committed. In the split-second before the orders are committed, Goldman Sachs' program can enter trades to take advantage of the change in the market before other traders learn of these developments.

Other theories speculate that the derivatives markets may soon expose major losses with Goldman Sachs wanting to pre-emptively deflect future blame that they might receive when this occurs.

Last Thursday, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-NY, who is the chair of the Joint Economic Committee, revealed to this committee that the $3.5 trillion of commercial real estate debt is a ticking "time bomb" and a "looming crisis" as $700 billion of this debt must be refinanced by the end of 2009. She said that there could be a second wave of huge losses at large U.S. banks.

There are significant stories flying around London and Washington that extremely bad news is going to be forced into the public eye at the end of August or in September. Among the kinds of news expected to be revealed are further major losses in the residential real estate mortgages, credit card debt and the commercial real estate market. Multiple sources are indicating that if you want to be able to purchase physical gold and silver, you probably should plan to take delivery by Aug. 20 or so at the latest (actually there is apparently some specific significant financial news that will be publicly disclosed on July 22 that would have an impact on precious metals markets, but I have no details what this involves).

Adrian Douglas, a professional commodity analyst and member of the Board of Directors of the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee (GATA), published an analysis Saturday revealing his discovery why the COMEX gold market reports on trading activity and the movement of metals were not making sense. In addition to being able to settle COMEX contracts by either delivering physical metal or paying cash, a gold contract can be settled by "substantially the economic equivalent" of gold. What has happened is that many COMEX gold contracts are being settled with shares of gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs). In theory, these ETFs own physical gold covering all of the outstanding shares, typically 1/10th ounce of gold per share. However, there are so many loopholes in the ETF contracts that allow the managers of the fund to effectively hold paper contracts rather than physical metal that there is significant doubt that the ETF could deliver gold to redeem outstanding shares. The rules of the COMEX silver market do not (yet) allow contracts to be settled with ETF shares.

This strategy of delivering "potentially paper gold" to satisfy contracts requiring delivery of physical gold has now been adopted by the Tokyo Commodity Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange. Prices of precious metals took a major hit last week. The G-8 Group of the world's largest economies plus Russia met in Rome last Wednesday through Friday. One of the subjects certain to be under discussion was the deteriorating position of the U.S. dollar as the de facto world reserve currency. The U.S. government has a strong interest in preventing any discussion of alternatives to the U.S. dollar. One way to "show" that the dollar is still strong and doesn't need any replacement is to knock down gold and silver prices significantly just before the meeting started. Funny - that is exactly what happened.

It is difficult to see developments such as these and still have any justification for the U.S. government's claim that there is no manipulation of the gold and silver markets.

Coalition of LGBT groups: Next year too soon for gay marriage vote in CA

The hottest debate among California gay marriage supporters revolves around a simple question: Do you try to overturn Proposition 8 in 2010 or 2012? This week it got hotter, as the community started to choose sides.

A diverse union of LGBT coalitions of color -- including API Equality-LA, HONOR PAC, and the Jordan/ Rustin Coalition -- said let's wait until 2012 before shoving another ballot initiative in front of folks. Their motto: Prepare to Prevail.

Say the P2Pers: Going "back to the ballot to remove the voter-imposed ban on same-sex marriage from the state constitution in 2010 would be rushed and risky. We should proceed with a costly, demanding, and high-stakes electoral campaign of this sort only when we are confident we can win."

Iran Armageddon: 6 months to go

Iran is getting ready. Israel has already shown it is on the prowl (See Previous Post). The lines have been drawn in the sand, now the only question is who will strike first.

Diplomats: Iran has means to test bomb in 6 months

VIENNA (AP) - Iran is blocking U.N. nuclear agency attempts to upgrade monitoring of its atomic program while advancing those activities to the stage that the country would have the means to test a weapon within six months, diplomats told The Associated Press Friday.

The diplomats emphasized that there were no indications of plans for such a nuclear test, saying it was highly unlikely Iran would risk heightened confrontation with the West—and chances of Israeli attack—by embarking on such a course.

But they said that even as Iran expands uranium enrichment, which can create fissile nuclear material, it is resisting International Atomic Energy Agency attempts to increase surveillance of its enrichment site meant to keep pace with the plant's increased size and complexity.

For Iran to amass enough fissile material to conduct an underground test similar to North Korea's 2006 nuclear explosion, it would likely have to kick out monitors of the IAEA—the U.N. nuclear agency—from its one known uranium enrichment site at Natanz. Technicians then could reconfigure the centrifuges now churning out nuclear-fuel grade enriched uranium to highly enriched, weapons-grade material.
