Every Morning: What Drives You?

Read the following couple quotes from two men that made and continue to make a great impact on society and the lives of countless individuals.

From an avowed terrorist Bill Ayers:

‘I Get Up Every Morning and Think…Today I’m Going to End Capitalism

From a since passed christian & political activist, head of a prisoner outreach,  Chuck Colson:

I live everyday to the fullest because I live it for Christ,” Chuck Colson liked to say. “And no matter what I do today … I’m going to do something to advance the kingdom of God. Does that make you fulfilled? You bet it does, and it gives you joy about living.”

Great men, as defined by those who have changed hearts, minds, and lives for whatever purpose, all woke up each day with purpose in mind.  They never had a day go by in their life that they didn't declare what they believed.  In the end, that's why we're here.  If a day goes by and we didn't do something to advance the ultimate reason why we're here, it is a day wasted forever.  For those of us who work a day job or do something that doesn't match your passion, it means that a day can never go by without attempting to pursue what it is that gives you peace and meaning. 

Ecclesiastes 3:11
