Time for the Church to Arise

If the founders were alive, we might have to point out America on a map just to convince them that this is the same country they founded. America has been a great nation due to the framers decision to place God at the foundation of this great democracy. We look around and see the immorality and impiety and wonder where God is. It is not God that has abandoned us though, it is us who have forgotten God.

Ronald Reagan often saw the best for America and his love for man and country stemmed from his belief in God. He believed in individual dignity and freedom, that individuals posses rights to life, liberty, property and freedom without any restriction of arbitrary force. He spoke out these principles and the world listened. The repercussions were enormous with communism falling in Berlin, Russia, and around the world with millions of people set free from the chains of evil dictators and totalitarian regimes.

Today, though all that has changed. I believe a lot can be traced right back to our abandonment of the God who blessed America with riches beyond measure. Now is not the time for division. May the church unite before all is lost.

Jewish People Returning

I recently talked to a friend of mine who returned from a trip to Israel. He said he spoke to the scholars there and they were amazed at the rate Jews from all over the world are returning to Israel. He indicated that Jews are coming from all over the globe, especially Russia, and that it is amazing to see what is going on.

Prophecies Currently Being Fulfilled

1. The Jewish people will be regathered in unbelief from the four corners of the earth (Isaiah 11:11-12). Fulfillment: 20th Century and continuing.

2. The state of Israel will be re-established (Isaiah 66:7-8 & Ezekiel 37:21-22). Fulfillment: May 14, 1948.

3. The Jews will once again re-occupy the city of Jerusalem (Zechariah 8:4-8), Fulfillment: June 7, 1967.

4. The land of Israel will be reclaimed from its desolation, becoming once again a land of agricultural abundance (Ezekiel 36:34-35). Fulfillment: 20th Century and continuing.

5. The Hebrew language will be revived from the dead (Zephaniah 3:9). Fulfillment: 19th & 20th Centuries.

6. All the nations of the world will come together against Israel over the issue of the control of Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:1-3). Fulfillment: Currently occurring.

Prophecies Yet To Be Fulfilled

1. The Arab nations of the world will attack Israel in a coordinated effort to annihilate the state (Psalm 83).

2. Israel will soundly defeat the Arab alliance (Zechariah 12:6).

3. Israel will dwell in security and prosperity (Ezekiel 38:11).

4. A Russian coalition consisting mainly of Muslim nations will invade Israel (Ezekiel 38:1-17).

5. The Russian coalition will be destroyed supernaturally by God (Ezekiel 38:18-23 & 39:1-8).

6. The Antichrist will intervene and guarantee the security of Israel, enabling the Jews to rebuild their Temple (Daniel 9:27).

7. At the end of three and a half years, the Antichrist will enter the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and declare himself to be God (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15-18, & 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).

8. The Jews will reject the Antichrist, and he will respond with an attempt to annihilate them, killing two-thirds of them in the process (Revelation 12:13-17 & Zechariah 13:8-9).

9. At the end of the Tribulation, when the Jews have come to the end of themselves, they will turn to God and receive Yeshua as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10, Romans 9:27-28, & Romans 11:25-27).

10. Jesus will return and regather all believing Jews to Israel (Deuteronomy 30:1-9).

11. Israel will be established as the prime nation in the world (Isaiah 2:1-4 & Micah 4:1-7).

12. The Lord will bless the Jewish remnant by fulfilling all the promises He has made to Israel (Isaiah 60:1-62:7).

13. The blessings of God will flow out to all the nations through the Jewish people during the Millennial rule of Jesus (Zechariah 8:22-23).

Pope calls for New World Order

Pope Benedict XVI calls for a one world political government:

VATICAN CITY - Pope Benedict on Tuesday called for a "world political authority" to manage the global economy and for more government regulation of national economies to pull the world out of the current crisis and avoid a repeat.

The pope’s call for a re-think of the way the world economy is run came in new encyclical which touched on a number of social issues but whose main connecting thread was how the current crisis has affected both rich and poor nations.

At the same time Russain President Dmitry Medvedev is calling for a one world currency:

Mr Medvedev, who has been seeking ways to displace the dollar as the world's dominant reserve currency, produced a sample coin of what he described as a 'united future world currency'.

“Here it is,” Mr Medvedev said, according to Bloomberg. “You can see it and touch it.” The coin, which was minted in Belgium, was presented to all the G8 leaders attending the summit and bears the words 'unity in diversity.'

The possibility of a supranational currency “concerns everyone now, even the mints,” Mr Medvedev said. The test coin “means they’re getting ready. I think it’s a good sign that we understand how interdependent we are.”

If we listen close enough we can see and hear the rumblings of a new world governemnt that is talked about in Revelation. Now even the Pope now longer spends time calling for honest ethical charity in government but calling for a redistributive system of world economic policy that includes one new world government.

Restraining Power

2 Thessalonians 2:7

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way

We are living in perilous days by which we might enter into the most exciting days this world has ever seen in the coming months and years. The Bible and its 100% prophecy fulfillment record predicts there will come a time when a man of lawlessness or sin will be revealed and this person will deceive the world for a period of 42 months. This person will be known as the Antichrist. The spirit of the Antichrist though is described in 1 John 4:

Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world."

We see this spirit at work as the anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-morality spirit is making its inroads in every aspect of American culture with record speed. This spirit though--despite its advances--is being held back by the restraining power mentioned in 2 Thessalonians. Scholars agree that this restraining power has to do with the church and the body of believer in Christ all over the world. When this is removed, we see the aftereffects as mentioned later in the same chapter:

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish...and for this reason God will send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie

When will this restraining power be removed? Only God knows. Until it happens this world will continue to grow more and more wicked as that day approaches.

Corruption and Power

Former Presidential Nominee and conservative stalwart, Barry Goldwater once said that the "enemey of freedom is unrestrained power. The champions of freedom will fight against the concentration of power wherever it is found." America has prospered due in large part to the power of the human spirit being let free. Communist governments of China and Russia have repressed for centuries the human spirit and have seen the greatest waste of human potential this world has ever seen as a result.

Here lies the canundrum: Freedom is being threatened as we speak with compulsatory Unions financing our politicans campaigns, a government option on the table for health care, and abuse of power and corruption reeking from all parts of the federal reserve and treasury with the trillions of taxpayers money thrown around.
Yet, with all these freedoms being threatened, where are the American Citizens? Where are the revolts? The outrage? Anybody home? Obama supposidly has a 60% approval rating and we hardly get more than a few thousand people at these tea parties. I am reminded of a song I once heard with this the closing stanza.:

United States of America
Looks like another silent night
As we're sung to sleep by philosophies
That save the trees and kill the children
And while we're lying in the dark
There's a shout heard 'cross the eastern sky
For the Bridegroom has returned
And has carried His bride away in the night

America has forgotten God. We have seen this nation's morals slowly erode away for years, now we are seeing the fruition of this erosion. Erosion is slow, silent, and ultimately deadly. From the carefree 20's and the introduction of the birth pill to the Warren Court and removal of God from the public arena we have slowly lost one stone at a time, from the foundation of morality and freedom this nation was built upon.

Apocalypse Sun?

It's the sort of news that makes one's eyes glaze over. "If our prediction is correct, Solar Cycle 24 will have a peak sunspot number of 90, the lowest of any cycle since 1928 when Solar Cycle 16 peaked at 78," said Doug Biesecker of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Space Weather Prediction Center.

Yes, space has weather, in the form of solar radiation that varies with solar activity in the form of sunspots and solar flares. Biesecker heads an NOAA panel that keeps an eye on such things and released this latest report.

But this dry statistic has more significance for the earth and its climate than all of Al Gore's gloom and doom about tailpipe emissions and rising sea levels. Whether the warm-mongers like it or not, the sun rules earth's climate — always has and always will.

First noticed in the 1800s, solar activity runs in roughly 11-year cycles. Some are as short as nine years or as long as 14. The valleys are usually brief, a couple of years, but sometimes, for reasons not fully understood, they stretch out for decades.

In the 17th century, a 70-year period of little or no sunspot activity known as the Maunder Minimum spawned what has become known as the Little Ice Age, which extended from roughly the 16th century to the 19th.

Washington's famous winter at Valley Forge was part of that natural phenomenon. So was Napoleon's bitter retreat from Moscow. During the winter of 1779-1780, the Hudson River was solid ice for five weeks. Early settlers going West crossed a frozen Mississippi near present-day St. Louis in 1799.

Global warming, you may have noticed, seemingly stopped dead in its tracks in 1998. Solar activity is in a valley right now, the deepest of the past century. NOAA reports that in 2008 and 2009, the sun set Space Age records for low sunspot counts, weak solar wind and low solar radiance. The sun has gone more than two years without a significant solar flare.

"The sun is behaving in an unexpected and very interesting way," says Dean Pesnell of the Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA's lead representative on the panel. "In our professional careers, we've never seen anything like it. Solar minimum has lasted far beyond the date we predicted in 2007."

If the sun stays this quiet, is another Little Ice Age possible? NASA says it has detected a tiny uptick in solar radio emissions. This may be a sign of a return to normalcy, something similar to a dormant volcano returning to life.

"Even a below-average cycle is capable of producing severe space weather," says Biesecker. "The great geomagnetic storm of 1859, for instance, occurred during a solar cycle of about the same size we're predicting for 2013."

That 1859 event electrified transmission cables, started fires in telegraph offices and produced Northern Lights bright enough to read a newspaper by. A recent report by by the National Academy of Sciences found that if such a storm occurred today, it could cause up to $2 trillion in damages to society's high-tech infrastructure.

The National Research Council has estimated that such a storm would play havoc with our power grid, resulting in "large-scale blackouts affecting more than 130 million people (in the U.S.) and (exposing) more than 350 major transformers to the risk of permanent damage."

NASA says this solar cycle will peak in 2013. The Mayan calendar identifies Dec. 12, 2012, as the end of the world as we know it. Seems to us we might better spend our money protecting our power grid and high-tech infrastructure against such a possibility rather than worrying about the emission standards for our cars.

That, and stock up on sunscreen.

American Capitalism gone with a Whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.
